![]() ![]() Wait for the sand column to approach, and then step onto the warp pad. Stay here, and wait for the Ember Twin to approach. Under the bridge, the Ember Twin’s sand column won’t be able to pick you up. Cross back to the other tower, and read the Nomai scroll.īack outside, stand under the bridge between the two towers. The roof is missing on this one, so drop down through. Hop across the gap, and pick up the scroll from the shelves there.ĭrop back down to the bottom of the elevator beam. Follow the spiral ramp to the right of the door up, and then ride the elevator beam to the top of the tower. When you reach the towers, turn to the one on the left. Mobius Digital/Annapurna Interactive via Polygon The next towers you come to are our next stop. Watch out for the Ember Twin as you continue across the bridge. When you return to the Ash Twin Towers, unlock the door. Part of the script will suggest that the Nomai return to the Ash Twin, so let’s do that. Take it to the nearby wall, and read all the Nomai script to learn about the Sun Station’s shortcomings. Pick up the Ash Twin Projection Stone from next to the Nomai skeleton. Next, look for the benches in the middle of the giant window. Read the Nomai computer there for a little more information. Stick to the right wall when the room opens up. You’ll end up on another gravity wall that forms a room perpendicular to the room you started the tower in. Instead, head down through the hole in the floor. The wall leads to an overlook with nice views but nothing to find or read. There’s a wall leading up in this room, but you don’t have to go up. Inside, read the Nomai scroll on your right. You’re aiming at a tiny door with yellow chevrons near the top of the tower opposite you. Jetpack your way straight through the door. Jetpack to the other half of the Sun Station. At then end, read all of the Nomai script, and then use the blue ball lock to blow the door. Follow it to the top, and jump to the next gravity wall as well. When you land on the Sun Station, look for a gravity wall leading up. Stand on the blue glass teleportation pad in the middle of the room. Use the warp pad to reach the Sun Station. Jump over the cactus to get into the beam, and ride it up. On the opposite side of the room from where you started, you’ll find an elevator beam leading up. Take the first right, and follow the hallway around to the left. You’ll have time to patch it and trees to refill your oxygen tanks in a few seconds. It’s very unlikely you’ll make it through without puncturing your suit. Use the draining sand to avoid the cactuses. If you get caught in the sand column, you’ll get sucked up onto the other planet. Again though, watch out for the Ember Twin as it orbits. ![]() ![]() Head to the opposite side of the tower, and wait for an open door to appear. The first door that emerges on the tower will have a broken lock, so you can’t go in that way. Just make sure you land your ship a little north or south of the equator so it doesn’t get sucked up with the sand and end up on the other planet. Keep moving around, and watch for a gear-shaped tower to start poking out of the sand. Watch out for the Ember Twin as you orbit Ash Twin. It takes about a full tank of oxygen’s worth of time for the sand to drain away, so it’s useful to stay in orbit for a little bit. Look for the gear-shaped top of the tower. The first one we’re looking for is the first one that emerges from the sand. The equator of the Ash Twin is ringed with towers that correspond to the planets in the system. The sand will drain off of Ash Twin and fill up Ember Twin over the course of the 22 minute loop. ![]() Much like Ember Twin, the surface of Ash Twin changes over time.
